Most post offices (posta) are open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Sat 8am-noon
- you can also buy stamps from some tobacconists ( tabák ) and street
kiosks. Poste restante services are available in major towns, but
remember to write Posta 1 (the main office), followed by the name of the
town.
Cheap local calls can be made from any phone , but for international
calls it's best to use a card phone, for which you need to buy a
telephone card ( telefonná karta ) from a tobacconist or post office.
Internet cafés have appeared in the larger cities; expect to pay
60-120Sk/hr.
